Wuhan General Group (OTC: $WUHN) announces to have obtained commercial rights for international distribution of medicinal cannabis products.
South Africa could, as one of the countries closest to the Southern Pole, become one of the world leading international-grade medical cannabis exporters.
Farming and agriculture are one of the backbones of South Africa.
With a world-class infrastructure, counter-seasonality to Europe, vast biodiversity and marine resources, and competitive input costs, make the country a major player in the world’s markets.
This means that the market is well set-up for agricultural activities and provide quite good investment opportunities with potentially large profits.
Wuhan General Group and Medigrow Africa aim through the recent agreement to place South Africa on the world map as medicinal cannabis cultivator.
Under the distribution agreement, Wuhan will receive commercial licenses and rights to Medigrow’s portfolio of medical-grade cannabis and hemp products.
“This partnership is the first of many steps going forward with Jeff Robinson and the Wuhan team. We share a common vision and execution strategies that will enable us to build a very profitable global powerhouse.” – Medigrow founder and CEO Willem Jonker
- Significant news for both parties – and clearly did provide a spike followed by profit-taking.
- Considering the company’s involvement in both the medicinal cannabis industry and psychedelics sector it seems that it still still hasn’t quite sunk in with investors – which is why we could see some price moves in the future.
