Apple to Spend $1 Billion to Open a 3,000 Employee Campus


Apple has announced new expansion plans in the USA. The tech giant will be creating employment over the years.

Apple the tech giant, has announced plans to open a new campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. The company joins other Silicon Valley technology companies that are expanding to gain a wider pool of engineering talent. It has said to spend over $1 billion and will employ 3,000 people to work on technologies which will include machine learning and software engineering.

Creating employment over the years

Apple plans to employ 8,700 people in San Diego, Culver City in Los Angeles, and in Boulder, Colorado respectively by 2026. They also said it would double the employment in Seattle. In total, the tech company said it plans to add 20,000 jobs in the U.S. over the next five years.
