Healthier Version of Burgers Hits the Grocery Stores


Beyond Meat will launch its latest version of meat-free burgers in the coming week. By June it is going to be available in the restaurants.

Beyond Meat is a company that offers its plant-based products in a range of categories. The company sells its products over three main meat platforms of beef, poultry, and pork. The company is going to sell its first value 4-pack retailing at $9.99. Consumers will be able to buy the new Beyond Burger 3.0 in grocery stores next week starting Monday.

Switching meat-lovers to plant-based products. A healthier alternative?

Even though Beyond Meats competitors are the traditional meat producers, it aims to achieve price parity with beef by 2024. It is said to have won its customers by its improved taste of its Beyond Burgers. When compared to the traditional beef 80/20 burger it is said to have 35% less total fat, fewer calories, and no cholesterol. The Beyond Burgers will also be available in two-pack and 1 pound beyond beef pack, also from June the products will be available in restaurants.
